Preventing Youth Alcohol Access in Dedham.

PhotoVoice

In partnership with DOSA, the Needham Public Health Department engaged high school students in a PhotoVoice project highlighting local high school students’ perspectives and experiences related to alcohol and other drug use. In Dedham, 25 students participated, capturing 100 images that allowed them to think critically about their surroundings as they documented through photos the effects community substance use has on them and their peers.

DHS Virtual Project

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, the DOSA Project Coordinator, Cassandra Bigness, hosted a virtual project for DHS students to create posters that raise awareness surrounding mental health during the pandemic and positive coping skills. All flyers below were created by DHS students.
